Our Trust Collaboration Days are dedicated events that bring staff together from across all of our schools to share expertise, collaborate on best practices and strengthen our professional community.

At Sapientia we facilitate subject and role-specific networks that allow staff to connect with peers across the Trust to share resources, best practice and pedagogical insights.

These networks operate in both primary and secondary settings and meet regularly throughout the year online and in person at the Trust Collaboration Day.

 

Steplab is used across all our schools to facilitate evidence-based instructional coaching for teaching staff. Focussing on small, actionable steps to improve classroom practice, Steplab provides ongoing, personalised CPD that has real impact.

Here at Sapientia we offer a structured, high-quality training programme supported by the 'Leadership Matters' framework and resources. It is designed to equip current and aspiring leaders in both primary and secondary settings across the Trust.

Professional Coaching for Leadership

All staff on a Leadership Development Programme are offered a series of professional coaching sessions to help embed learning, work through current leadership challenges and to support career aspirations.

Leadership Secondments

Offering short-term opportunities to work in different roles or schools with the Trust, providing a diverse experience and a broader perspective. Supporting career transition, development or progression

Apprenticeships are a great way for new and existing staff to upskill, get professionally qualified and to further their experience whilst being able to directly apply that learning in their day-today work.

At Sapientia Education Trust we support a wide range of teaching and non-teaching apprenticeships across all levels.

Examples of current apprenticeships being offered include:

  • Business Admin level 3

  • TA Level 3

  • Specialist TA level 5

  • Post-Graduate Teaching Apprenticeship

  • CIPD Level 5

We partner with trusted training providers to ensure the highest quality experience for our staff as well as a smooth onboarding process and regular performance updates.

Here at Sapientia we provide not only support and training but also clear, transparent roadmaps for progression within the Trust. We ensure that everyone sees a long-term future with us whether in teaching or other support roles.
