Nicola Furneaux – Partnership and Professional Learning Lead. Nicola worked as an English teacher and in pastoral roles at Crown Woods School in South London for 18 years. She moved to Norfolk to take up an Assistant Headteacher post at Sprowston High School where she became Acting Headteacher in 2005 before taking up a post as Headteacher at Framingham Earl High School. She promoted child-centred approaches in her school which engaged with the Nurturing Schools Network and the Learning Without Limits project at Cambridge University. On 1 May 2018 Framingham Earl High School joined Sapientia Education Trust. Nicola retired from her post in December, 2019 and is now working full-time for the Trust, focusing on Professional Learning for staff, developing a Staff Wellbeing strategy and supporting leadership in other Trust schools.
